The National Food Agency of Georgia conducted the first results of a massive inspection of municipal kindergartens' food samples in Tbilisi following a mass poisoning incident among children. Out of 129 laboratory samples tested, no violations were found.

Experts verified how the food was produced, as well as the storage conditions: temperature of refrigerators, ovens, meat, vegetables, fruits, and the entire production line (raw, dried, and ultra-pasteurized milk, fresh vegetables, and meat).

The inspections also included the condition of kitchen utensils, interiors, floors, walls, and microbiological indicators, including salmonella, shigella, staphylococcus, and coliform bacteria.

"As of this moment, 129 samples have been tested. All of them fully comply with established standards and norms of safety, and no violations have been found," the agency reported.
