The founders and leading figures of the TV channel "Imedi" are involved in a legal dispute with businessman Tamaz Elizbarashvili. According to the Georgian service of Radio Svoboda, the case is connected to a criminal investigation against Elizbarashvili. Additionally, a "FAKE Control" program was aired on the "Imedi" channel by Shako Kuchashvili, featuring interviews with witnesses Nika Kldiashvili and Sandro Gamsakhurdia, who are also involved in the "Imedis kvira" program. On August 30, Kuchashvili presented a verbal conflict with Elizbarashvili in the "Skhva" restaurant, which was recorded with audio comments from the businessman in social networks. The presenter claims that the dispute was not physical and that his friend was beaten.
