Actor Natia Mezvrishvili, representing interests in the case of the Abkhaz blogger Daur Buava, shared her impressions of an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. She emphasized that the actor's health could be connected with the presence of narcotic substances. "We do not agree with the version of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This is only the version, and the given fact is not confirmed," Mezvrishvili said in a comment to the Georgian service of Radio Svoboda. She added that there will be a request for an independent expert examination. According to Mezvrishvili, she has already heard the latest organ and has seen the search of the expert. Buava, who lives in Moscow, communicated with his relatives by phone and did not hide his feelings. Buava was found dead in his own apartment in Tbilisi's Didube district on August 27. Two days after the incident, the police held a briefing about the investigation of his death.
