DillaNext, one of Georgia’s most influential artists, returns with a four-track EP that transforms memory, recovery, and maturity into a ritual.
For nearly two decades, Zura Jishkariani — who now goes by his latest stage name DillaNext — has held a singular role in modern Georgian culture, shaping how a generation of artists sound and think. As a musician, writer, and artist, he has built a universe where anarchist philosophy and street mythology collide with Chinese robots and ‘illegal cosmonautics’.
Displaced from Abkhazia following the 1992–93 war, Jishkariani emerged from Tbilisi’s punk scene in the early 2000s. He gained wider recognition through the group Titrebi, becoming a key figure in Georgia’s underground music scene. His new EP continues to explore themes of memory and personal growth, blending experimental sounds with deep cultural references, marking a significant contribution to Georgian contemporary music.
