The Georgian government officially opened a technological hub in the new Kutaisi park building. The event introduced a project for a new regional innovation center and emphasized the role of technology in regional development. The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, who noted that the object, previously known as the “corruption symbol” during the previous government, has now received a “completely new designation.”
"Today we are opening the Kutaisi technological hub, which I feel is a standard of regional innovation and technology development. The fact that the building, symbolizing corruption during the previous government, will now host a completely new function," said Kobakhidze.
The opening featured a grandiose show with drones and captivating 3D mapping visuals.
