In the Lotkina area on the outskirts of Tbilisi, a 14-year-old schoolgirl seriously injured herself after a massive metal swing construction collapsed on her. The unfortunate incident happened on Kishinevskaya Street on June 22. According to eyewitnesses, at the moment of the incident, several children were playing on the swings. The structure collapsed and fell on a girl sitting on the swing, causing her injuries. Medical personnel who arrived at the scene provided first aid and transported the girl to the hospital. The police have initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has already started an official inquiry. TV Pirveli journalists reported that the swing was completely dismantled the same day, and its owner was detained for questioning.
