Tbilisi and Beijing discussed cooperation in the field of teaching the Chinese language. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education of Georgia Givi Mikanadze and the director of the Beijing Center for Chinese Language Development and Cooperation Yu Yunfen.
The document aims to assist Georgian teachers in professional development, additional financial support for students, exchange of educational resources and experience, joint educational and cultural programs.
A working group was created to start functioning soon, which began its work in Tbilisi.
The signing ceremony took place in Beijing. Mikanadze and his first deputy Levan Gvirtsishvili inspected the educational infrastructure of the center and discussed cooperation with Chinese colleagues.
