On Europe Day, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced EU assistance to Christian communities and emphasized the importance of preserving Christian values. The announcement was made during a meeting with Memorial Meliton Kantaria, where they discussed the protection of Christian values in the context of the Second World War. "Following the recent tensions, I want to assure that we will do everything possible to protect the rights of those affected, and Europe remains committed to the path of protecting human dignity and Christian values, which is very important for each of us," said Kobakhidze. Europe has always been a guardian of these values, and the Prime Minister noted that after the 1940s, Europe began to actively promote the protection of Christian values. This initiative highlights Georgia's commitment to preserving its rich Christian heritage and strengthening ties with European traditions.
