The traditional New Wine Festival will be held on May 9 in Tbilisi's Mtatsminda Park. This event celebrates Georgian wine, which has been produced for over 17 centuries, and honors the legacy of Malhaz Kharbedia, a writer and literary critic who was born 50 years ago. The festival's motto is "Wine for everyone and everyone for wine!" Organizers expect the event to become a significant tradition, attracting visitors from all over the country and abroad. At the festival, it will be possible to taste wines from different regions of Georgia, with participation from leading companies, medium and small winemakers, as well as numerous seminars. The hosts will be happy to meet with producers and share information about the best wines.
