Georgia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have created a joint mechanism for investment projects. This was announced by the Georgian Minister of Economy following meetings with government officials of the UAE, including the UAE Ambassador Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Hajeri in Tbilisi.
The delegation of the UAE, led by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, met with the heads of the Georgian government to discuss the creation of a joint mechanism for investment projects.
According to the ministry, the parties agreed that the new mechanism will include representatives of government and private sectors of both countries to facilitate the implementation of concrete investment projects.
"The meeting was very productive. The delegation was a key participant – representatives of various business sectors joined the meeting," said Al-Hajeri. "We agreed on the creation of a joint mechanism with the participation of government officials."
