Ведомство категорически опровергает обвинения в нарушениях и называет его нелегалом. Михаев был задержан в аэропорту и затем выдворен в Армению, где его встретили сторонники. Борец проживал в Грузии с 2021 года по гуманитарной визе. Выдворение произошло 27 января 2024 года после истечения срока его законного пребывания. Спортсмен планировал продолжить тренировки в Тбилиси и прилегающем регионе, но власти приняли иное решение. МВД подчеркивает, что с 29 июня 2026 года Михаев больше не будет считаться резидентом.

The deportation took place on January 27, 2024, following the expiration of his legal stay. The athlete planned to continue his training in Tbilisi and the surrounding region, but the authorities decided otherwise. The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that from June 29, 2026, Mikheev will no longer be considered a resident.
