В Тбилисском зоопарке обитают два вида ара: алые ара (Ara macao) по имени Рокки и Кики, а также сине-жёлтые ара (Ara ararauna) по имени Чико и Пако. Их яркое оперение сразу привлекает внимание посетителей. В настоящее время у ара период размножения. Чико и Пако ожидают птенцов и обычно высиживают яйца в течение 24–28 дней. В этот период оба родителя активно защищают и заботятся о будущем потомстве. Рокки и Кики стали особенно осторожными, часто прячутся от людей и редко покидают вольер. Посетители зоопарка могут с удовольствием наблюдать за этими красивыми птицами и узнавать об их естественном поведении.
