На этот раз инициаторы выступают деятели культуры — актер Георгий Шанидзе, режиссер Георгий Сихарулидзе и директор Батумского драматического театра Коте Мжавия. На пресс-конференции они объявили о создании платформы, которая объединяет сторонников национальных ценностей, традиций, исторических героев и других «фундаментальных ценностей» страны. По словам организаторов, платформа призвана противостоять деятельности «деструктивных и финансово мотивированных групп», которые, по их мнению, угрожают культурному наследию страны. Если это удастся, инициаторы планируют превратить «защиту» в массовое «гражданское движение».
