Показатель иммунитета от гепатита C достиг в Грузии 99%, сообщил Минздрав. 87,3% пациентов с хроническим гепатитом C уже диагностированы, а 87,1% из числа выявленных пациентов начали лечение, что превышает целевые показатели ВОЗ. Что касается гепатита B, Грузия уже выполнила региональные цели ВОЗ: распространённость среди детей 0,03%; охват вакцинацией новорождённых 96%; охват полным курсом вакцинации (три дозы вакцины) – 90%. Конечной целью стратегии страны является полная элиминация (устранение) вирусных гепатитов к 2030 году, что соответствует снижению заболеваемости и является приоритетом Минздрава Грузии. В этом году Грузия планирует получить международное поддержку ВОЗ для программы по борьбе с гепатитом C и переходу от гепатита B к лечению.
The immunity indicator against hepatitis C in Georgia has reached 99%, the Ministry of Health reported. 87.3% of patients with chronic hepatitis C have already been diagnosed, and 87.1% of those diagnosed have started treatment, exceeding the WHO targets. Regarding hepatitis B, Georgia has also achieved the WHO's regional targets: a 0.03% prevalence among children; 96% vaccination coverage for newborns; and 90% vaccination coverage with the full course (three doses) of the vaccine. The main goal of the country's strategy is to achieve full elimination (eradication) of viral hepatitis by 2030, which corresponds to a significant reduction in the incidence of viral hepatitis and is a priority for the Ministry of Health of Georgia. This year, Georgia plans to receive international support from the WHO for a program aimed at the elimination of hepatitis C and the transition from hepatitis B to treatment.
