По словам одного из участников встречи, обсуждались вопросы поддержки и помощи детям с этим редким заболеванием. В Грузии около 100 детей страдают от этого заболевания, многие из которых живут более 20 лет без специальной терапии. Родители детей в Тбилиси пытаются повысить осведомленность о болезни и обеспечить необходимую помощь. На встрече также обсуждалась важность медицинской поддержки и социальной интеграции для этих детей. Премьер-министр выразил готовность помочь улучшить качество жизни семей, затронутых заболеванием Дюшенна.

An agreement to create a working group on Duchenne muscular dystrophy was reached during a meeting between the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and parents of children affected by this disease. According to one of the participants, the meeting focused on ways to support and care for children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. In Georgia, about 100 children suffer from this rare disease, with many living more than 20 years without special therapy. Parents of affected children in Tbilisi are trying to raise awareness about the disease and provide necessary assistance. The meeting also discussed the importance of medical support and social integration for these children. The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to help improve the quality of life for families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
