Новый Католикос-Патриарх всей Грузии Шио III проведет свою первую традиционную литургию 17 мая — в День святой семьи, который следует за празднованием Святой Троицы в Тбилиси. Во время литургии будут вознесены молитвы за здоровье истинных служителей церкви, интронизацию нового патриарха и за единство грузинского народа. В этот день в центре Тбилиси пройдет традиционный крестный ход от церкви Кашвети до Святой Семьи. Накануне праздника Илия II также провел традиционную Божественную литургию с участием епископов и духовенства. Праздник «Святой Семьи» впервые отмечался 17 мая 2013 года.

The new Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia, Shio III, will hold his first traditional liturgy on May 17 — on the Day of the Holy Assembly, which follows the celebration of the Holy Trinity in Tbilisi. During the liturgy, prayers will be offered for the health of the true servants of the church, the introduction of the new patriarch, and for the unity of the Georgian people. On this day, a traditional procession will take place in the center of Tbilisi, from Kashveti Church to the Holy Assembly. On the eve of the feast, Ilia II also held a traditional Divine Liturgy with the participation of bishops and clergy. The feast "Holy Assembly" was first celebrated on May 17, 2013.
