Грузия вошла в список 163 стран, представленных при ООН по инициативе «Исправьте карту» (Correct the Map) — инициативе, авторы которой акцентируют внимание на колониальном характере многих границ в картографии. Документ представлен после проекции XVI века Меркатора, которая визуально искажает территории, и проекции Equal Earth, разработанной в 2018 году.
Помимо Грузии, были представлены страны Украина, Молдова, Сербия, Литва и Эстония. Грузинские официальные лица позиции Тбилиси не озвучили.
Единственной страной, проголосовавшей против документа, стала США. В то время резолюцию поддержало более 164 стран.

Georgia appeared in a list of 163 countries presented at the United Nations for the 'Correct the Map' initiative — an initiative whose authors highlight the colonial nature of many borders in cartography. The document was presented following the XVI century Mercator projection, which visually distorts territories, and the Equal Earth projection, developed in 2018.
Along with Georgia, countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Lithuania, and Estonia were also presented. Georgian official lists did not include the position of Tbilisi.
The United States was the only country that opposed the document. During the resolution discussion, more than 164 countries supported the initiative.
