From January to August 2026, Georgia exported goods worth $500.6 million to Russia. Russia ranked third among the country's export partners, after Kyrgyzstan and China. The main supplies consist of wine, strong alcohol, mineral water, soft drinks, and agricultural products. Against this backdrop, Russian authorities suspended the import and sale of certain beverages from several Georgian producers.

Based on data from Geostat, the agency bm.ge compiled a TOP-10 list of the largest exporting companies that formed the main flow of supplies from Georgia to Russia in 2025–2026 (the companies are listed without ranking by specific positions):

According to Geostat, over the first eight months of 2026, Georgia's beverage exports to world markets amounted to $594 million. Their total volume reached 395.4 thousand tons.

Russia accounted for about 187 thousand tons of beverages, more than 47% of their total export volume. In monetary terms, supplies to Russia exceeded $270 million.

Thus, a significant share of supplies to Russia comes from alcoholic and non-alcoholic products, water, and fruit. For a number of categories, the Russian market accounts for more than half of Georgia's total export volume.
