The Tbilisi city hall has launched the Smart Solutions company, which is responsible for the reconstruction of Rustaveli Avenue. The project budget is 1.5 thousand GEL ($575), funded by the government and public funds from the Agency of State Procurement. The company was officially registered on July 13 at 19:51 and operates from Besiki Street to Freedom Square. Since July 28, Smart Solutions has been working 24/7 on the reconstruction. One inspection showed that the work was not progressing as planned. The street reconstruction covers 0.02% of the total contract amount, which is 7,916,674 GEL. This is the first phase of the Smart Solutions project to renovate Rustaveli Avenue.
