Georgia's exports in August reached a record $752.4 million, marking a 24.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This data reflects positive trends in the country's foreign trade. The main export day coincided with the first eight months of the year. In January-August, exports increased by 22.1%, totaling $5.42 billion. Additionally, Georgia's total foreign trade turnover rose by 9.6% to $2.3 billion in August. For January-August, the turnover amounted to $17.92 billion, showing an 8.3% increase compared to the same period last year. The monthly export and turnover balance data were also published. In August, the foreign trade deficit was $798.5 million, which is $95.8 million less than the previous year. Overall, these figures indicate a positive economic development and growing trade relations for Georgia.
