Baku and Yerevan have agreed to begin the next joint stage of delimitation and demarcation of the state border at the tripoint where the borders of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan meet. This was announced by the head of the MID of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

"The agreed joint delimitation process of our common border is underway. There is an agreement and mutual understanding that the work will start with the most complex section of the border — the tripoint of the borders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia — and will continue with seven other sections," said Bayramov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry agent.

According to him, working commissions under the leadership of vice-premiers Shakhin Mustafayev and Mger Grigoryan have prepared all necessary regulations to start the process.
