The meeting discussed the launch of the first direct flight from Germany to Georgia. The discussion also covered prospects for two-way cooperation between Tbilisi and Berlin, as well as Georgia's relations with the European Union. The diplomats exchanged views on regional processes, emphasizing the importance of peace and security in the Caucasus region. "MID Georgia welcomed the new ambassador and expressed hope that he will be a positive link in developing relations between the two countries," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
