At the top of Georgia's fuel market, the first batch of premium Euro-5 standard gasoline has arrived from Italy. The state-owned company Azerbaijan SOCAR Georgia Petroleum has imported 5 thousand tons of premium fuel meeting the EN 228 (Euro-5) standard. According to SOCAR Georgia Petroleum's director Nodar Kancheveli, the import of Italian fuels is a significant step towards increasing the quality and diversification of the fuel market in Georgia. "For most clients, this means access to high-quality fuel with premium European standards," Kancheveli said in a press release. Historically, Georgia was the first buyer of Azerbaijani fuel, and now it is expanding its portfolio with premium Italian gasoline.
