Over the past year in Georgia, prices for nearly 65% of goods and services have increased, while some essential items showed a decrease, according to digital top-level and available data. This information was published by the National Statistics Service "Sakstat," which analyzed data provided by the agency bm.ge.

In August, the annual inflation rate in Georgia was 5.6%. The core inflation rate, which excludes certain categories such as food products and energy, was 3.8%.

"Sakstat" reports a price increase for 305 main goods and services. Among them, 193 positions saw price growth, 12 remained stable, and 100 experienced price decreases.

Among the most significant price increases among goods and services are fruits, cheese, fuel, and flights.
