Beer consumption in Georgia has reached a historic maximum, and analysts forecast that by 2025 the volume will reach 636 million liters. According to a new report by TBC Capital, despite the growth in the number of sales points and the variety of products, consumers and the hospitality sector are driving the market to new heights — with a significant increase in the import of premium brands.

The total beer consumption in Georgia is expected to double in two years compared to 2021 (which was a rebound year after restrictions and in the first quarter of 2026). Some financial indicators of producers have not yet been published: the share of physical sales of domestic brands remains stable.

The average annual growth rate of beer consumption in the period from 2019 to 2025 is estimated at 12.1%. The market is becoming more concentrated — four large players dominate, controlling the majority of the market share.
