Tbilisi Metro has published photos of new trains from the Chinese state corporation CRRC. The first batch of wagons is already planned for delivery to the capital, and new trains are expected to start operating by the end of 2026. The update includes two types of trains: 14 wagons for the 4th line configuration and 11 wagons for the 5th line. The interior design features modern comfort standards, safety, and accessibility for passengers. The metro management noted that the new trains will improve the quality of life and public transport service in the city, marking a significant step in the modernization of Tbilisi's metro system.
