In the village of Gomaro in the Adjara municipality, on the evening of July 23, after several days of a large-scale population census, work began to process the results with the involvement of a special technical team. As reported by the mayor of the Adjara municipality, Gocha Kimadze, the special commission was formed in advance. According to him, the team must include hydrologists, geologists, and specialists in construction who will assess the causes and determine the measures for restoring the affected areas. The size of the special commission depends on the territory. As of today, three villages of the municipality — Gomaro, Kvemo Enteli, and Shoka — have been affected. In Gomaro, two residential houses and an additional infrastructure were damaged. In Kvemo Enteli, the situation is similar.
