A delegation of the Georgian government, headed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, visited Singapore with a working visit following a series of meetings with state authorities, major investors, financial companies, and one of the world's leading air carriers. Although the details of the agreements were not disclosed, the visit marked the beginning of a new stage of relations with Singapore and the attraction of new investments to Georgia. According to the official results of the visit, Minister of Economy Mariam Kvrivishvili noted that the approving company of the Singaporean air carrier Changi became a project partner of the new intercontinental air route from Tbilisi.
