Georgia and Qatar have established a joint working group to develop investment cooperation in the field of investment. The announcement was made by Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvitsiani and the Chairman of the State Committee of Qatar at a forum held in Shanghai. According to the Georgian Minister of Economy, Mariam Kvitsiani, Tbilisi expects that cooperation with Qatar will help unlock the potential of the Silk Road between Europe and Asia. At the forum, it was noted that cooperation with Qatar will be possible without intermediaries. "Not a single country can realize the full potential of investment exclusively with internal resources. Dialogue, trust, and international partnership are the basis of effective investment cooperation," said Kvitsiani.
