From September 2025 to April 2026, Georgian citizens received remittances totaling nearly 24 million dollars. According to Transparency International – Georgia (TI), which analyzed data from more than 4,700 legal entities, 379 Georgian citizens received remittances exceeding 24 million dollars during this period. Additionally, 233 individuals received remittances under the threshold of 11 million dollars, with an average of about 47 thousand dollars each. Among them, 28 citizens declared daily remittances exceeding 100 thousand dollars. The declarations include 29 automobiles, 14 luxury real estate properties, seven food service establishments, and other valuable assets. The total declared value of remittances reached approximately 5.6 million dollars to the USA and 1.7 million dollars to Europe. The law requires citizens to declare remittances exceeding a certain amount.
