Georgia has launched a specialized state service system for issuing first residence permits, designed to provide applicants with a transparent and efficient process. The announcement was made during a briefing by the head of the state coordination of legal entities, Vice-Premier Mamuka Mdinaradze. According to him, the system allows for a unified registration and digitalization of numerous residence permits in various categories. "A favorite service, if there is a demand for it, is the issuance of such residence permits. They are necessary for issuing long-term visas, among other things, for diplomatic missions and many other objects that require state approval," Mdinaradze said in response to journalists' questions about where the new service will be used.
