The second largest Scandinavian airline, Norwegian, has started operations in Georgia. The first regular flights between Tbilisi and Copenhagen will be operated twice a week. The first flight was operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers. "This is the first direct flight between the capitals of Georgia and Denmark in history. The new route will contribute to the development of aviation links, strengthening ties with Europe and promoting high-quality tourism from Denmark and Scandinavia to Georgia," said the head of the Georgian Airports Administration.
