Former Georgian Minister Irakli Kobakhidze sharply responded to the statement of US Congressman Mark Rubio, who claimed that Washington can influence not only American voters but also Georgian voters. The statement "Georgia is not a school, so someone should have left it alone and stopped trying to teach" was made by Kobakhidze, emphasizing that Georgia is a sovereign state and that Georgians have the right to make independent decisions. According to him, Tbilisi is currently experiencing a period of strategic partnership with the United States, and one of the main priorities is the rule of law and justice. Kobakhidze stressed that Georgia is a friendly and reliable partner, and they have repeatedly confirmed this fact.
