In Georgia, during the first half of the year, there was a notable increase in mobile number registrations. The operator expanded the numbering system by 5,000 numbers (equivalent to $1.9 thousand), and the state itself began to monitor the electromagnetic radiation norms. This information was reported in a recent survey by telecommunications experts published on bm.ge.

According to the report, one of the main mobile network operators in Georgia has increased the number of available numbers for subscribers. By 2025, the office of the ombudsman expects about 155 million mobile numbers with the possibility of basic number changes on land and sea.

The ombudsman also noted that the level of electromagnetic radiation does not exceed the permissible norms and does not pose a threat to human health. Their task is to consult citizens, provide information, and supervise.
