The National Communications Commission of Georgia fined the critically oriented TV channel Formula 2,500 lari (approximately $935) for broadcasting the program "About the Weapon," citing non-compliance with balance requirements in new networks and the use of estimated formulas on air.

During the commission meeting, it was noted that several journalists from new outlets, such as "Pravitelstvo Ivanishvili," "Minister of Internal Affairs 'Georgian Dream'," and "Proprietor Rustavi 2," presented statements that were considered as violating the law. The regulator assessed this as a violation of the "On Broadcasting" law, which prohibits content that promotes hatred or intolerance.

The commission's decision was announced on April 22, following a session with the chairman Dushenna. According to the regulator, the material contained elements that could provoke hatred, which led to the sanction.
