The former head of the Georgian special forces, Zviad Kharadze ('Khareba'), announced that 'the tour is not canceled' and the team is ready for the tour despite the arrests of former subordinates. He made these comments during an interview on TV Pirveli. On May 7, the Georgian Prosecutor's Office announced charges against three former and two current members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The charges involve the involvement of Levana Khabeishvili, Zviad Maisashvili, and journalist Guram Rogava during the meetings in Tbilisi. Kharadze, who led the special forces during that period, expressed confidence in his team and stated that he is not afraid of the tour and that no one prevents the tour from happening. He said, 'I love my country, I am not afraid, and no one prevents the tour. I will go and I am sure if this is necessary for my country, if this is the only way to help my country.'
