In Georgia, 45 foreigners were detained during raids targeting illegal migrants, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The detained individuals come from countries including Kenya, Turkey, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Algeria, Thailand, Uganda, India, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Sudan.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the Department of Migration conducted coordinated operations to identify illegal migrants residing in Georgia without legal status.

The raids took place in various locations including private houses, hotels, nightclubs, and residential quarters. The detained foreigners were brought to the Migration Department's temporary detention center, where procedures for their deportation from the country began.
