The new special economic zone representative of NATEO for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Kevin Hamilton, visited Georgia for the first time. His two-day working visit began with meetings in the capital city of Tbilisi with the head of the Ministry of Economy, Makoi Bochorishvili. During the meetings, they discussed political dialogue between Tbilisi and Alania, as well as practical cooperation within the framework of the free economic zone. It was announced that NATEO supports the development of cooperation between Georgia and its territorial neighbors. Hamilton, who was named the new special representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties and regional cooperation. The visit marks a new chapter in the partnership between Georgia and the Central Asian region under the auspices of NATEO (Joint Territorial Economic Cooperation).
