Another person has been detained in Tbilisi on charges related to the attempted smuggling of Russian citizens. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported that the suspect is a 33-year-old man who was arrested in the city of Gori. On April 3, the Ministry announced the detention of several other figures connected to the case. According to the information, the detainees used cold weapons and threats of physical violence to force the Russian citizens to pay ransom. The investigation is ongoing.
