Тысячи абонентов крупнейшего грузинского провайдера MagtiCom на несколько часов остались без мобильного и стационарного интернета, а также цифрового ТВ.

Перебои в работе стали фиксироваться сегодня с полудня. При этом мобильная связь MagtiCom работала в обычном режиме.

В 15:25 по тбилисскому времени на своей странице в Facebook компания объявила об устранении неполадок. Их причиной назвали «проблемы глобальной интернет-сети».

«Вниманию пользователей! Из-за проблемы, возникшей в глобальной интернет-сети, у части абонентов MagtiCom на некоторое время был ограничен доступ к интернету. Техническая команда активно работала, и на данный момент проблема устранена. Приносим извинения за доставленные неудобства», – говорится в заявлении.

В последний раз аналогичный сбой происходил у абонентов MagtiCom в начале 2025 года. Тогда причиной стали повреждения магистрального канала в Турции и его резерва в Грузии. В компании назвали такое совпадение «подозрительным», передав информацию в правоохранительные органы. МВД Грузии не публиковало данные об итогах проверки.

MagtiCom принадлежит американским компаниям International Telcell Celular LLC и Telcell Wireless LLC. Оператор оказывает полный пакет услуг: мобильная и фиксированная телефония, интернет и телевидение. На июнь 2025 года у компании насчитывалось более 2,3 млн абонентов мобильной связи и до 520 тысяч пользователей фиксированного интернета.

Interruptions in service began to be recorded today from noon. At the same time, MagtiCom's mobile voice communication worked in normal mode.

At 15:25 Tbilisi time, the company announced on its Facebook page that the problems had been resolved. The cause was cited as "global internet network issues."

"Attention to users! Due to a problem that occurred in the global internet network, some MagtiCom subscribers had limited internet access for some time. The technical team worked actively, and at the moment the problem has been resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience caused," the statement said.

The last time a similar outage occurred for MagtiCom subscribers was in early 2025. Then the cause was damage to the main channel in Turkey and its backup in Georgia. The company called such a coincidence "suspicious" and passed the information to law enforcement agencies. Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has not published data on the results of the investigation.

MagtiCom is owned by American companies International Telcell Celular LLC and Telcell Wireless LLC. The operator provides a full package of services: mobile and fixed telephony, internet and television. As of June 2025, the company had more than 2.3 million mobile subscribers and up to 520 thousand fixed internet users.
