Правительство Грузии ликвидирует незаконно созданное Агентство по управлению господдержанными грантами. Об этом сообщил бывший министр государственного управления Ираклий Кобахидзе, возглавлявший институт неправительственных организаций (НПО) «Институт независимого международного расследования». Решение о закрытии связано с выявленным незаконным распределением грантов в рамках партии «Грузинская мечта». НПО заявляет о своей независимости и занимается расследованием одного из государственных органов в другой стране. НПО было ликвидировано правительством, а его члены выдворены. НПО использовалось как главный инструмент независимого международного расследования. Это первый такой пример в Грузии.

The Georgian government is taking steps to eliminate an illegally established Agency for the Management of State Grants. This announcement was made by Irakli Kobakhidze, former Minister of State Governance, who headed an institute of unauthorized organizations called the NGO "Institute of Independent International Investigation." The decision to close this entity follows reports of illegal activities in the distribution of grants within the framework of the "Georgian Dream" party. The NGO claims to be an independent entity and has been active in investigating one of the state agencies in another state. The NGO was dissolved by the government, and its members were expelled. The NGO was used as a tool for independent international investigation. This case is the first of its kind in Georgia.
