В парламенте Грузии утверждён новый глава Службы государственной безопасности — Тамаз Борашвили. За его кандидатуру проголосовали 83 депутата, против — ни одного. Борашвили является сотрудником Службы госбезопасности и имеет более 20 лет опыта работы в правоохранительных органах. Он начал карьеру с младшего должностного лица и последовательно занимал различные посты в СГБ и МВД. В период с 2017 по 2022 год он был первым заместителем, а затем начальником Генеральной инспекции МВД. В 2022 году продолжил службу в СГБ, внося вклад в безопасность и стабильность страны.

Georgia's parliament has approved a new head of the State Security Service, Tamaz Borashvili. He received support from 83 deputies, with none opposing. Borashvili comes from the ranks of the State Security Service and has worked in law enforcement for over 20 years. He began his career as a junior officer and rose through the ranks, holding various positions within the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
