В Грузии ужесточили правила поступления и обучения в вузах для иностранных студентов — новые нормы связаны с единой системой знания языка. Это следует из постановления правительства Грузии от 8 сентября. Большинство новых правил вступят в силу с 9 июля и распространяются на поступления, начинающиеся с 1 сентября 2026 года. Выдача виз по новым правилам начнется в учебном году 2027-2028. Правила без участия экзаменаторов из ЕС и магистратуры сокращены, но увеличено количество экзаменов для тех, кто использует систему. Новые правила также позволяют использовать вступительные экзамены зарубежных школ, включая международные программы внутри Грузии.

Georgia has approved the postponement and revision of visa fee rules for international students, introducing new norms in a unified language system. This follows the approval of Georgia's visa rules from September 8. The majority of the new rules will come into effect from July 9 and will apply to admissions starting from September 1, 2026. Visa issuance under these new rules will begin in the academic year 2027-2028. The visa rules without the participation of EU national and magistrate examiners have been shortened, but the number of exams required has increased for those who use the system. The new rules also allow applicants to use entrance exams of foreign schools, including international programs within Georgia.
