В Абхазии на фоне острого дефицита топлива начал работу бензин с территории России под контролем Тбилиси. Факт подтвержден премьер-министром Грузии Иракли Кобахидзе, который отметил, что топливо отравил качественный бензин, а не контрабанда.

«Мы не ввозили, бензин ввез» — заявил Кобахидзе в ответ на вопрос журналиста.

По его словам, грузинское правительство и закон «Об оккупированных территориях» допускают такую деятельность в гуманитарных целях. Премьер добавил, что, если посты помогают решить проблему с топливом в Абхазии, они готовы увеличить такие меры.

О деятельности бензопоста через Ингурский мост 11 августа сообщал TV Pirveli. Подтвержден факт работы и де-факто правового статуса в Сухуми: там заявили, что поставки из России продолжаются, но из-за «внутренних факторов».

In Abkhazia, due to a severe fuel shortage, a top-level fuel supply post from Russian territory has started operating under the control of Tbilisi. On August 12, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze confirmed that the post provides quality fuel, not smuggled goods.

"We did not introduce smuggled fuel," Kobakhidze said in response to a journalist's question.

According to him, the Georgian government and the organization "About Occupied Territories" are working to ensure such daily deliveries. The Prime Minister added that if the posts help resolve the fuel shortage in Abkhazia, they are ready to increase such deliveries.

The fuel supply post was discussed on August 11 during a TV Pirveli broadcast. The fact of the post's operation and the de-facto legality in Sukhumi was confirmed; it was noted that fuel deliveries from Russia are taking place but from "inside factories."
