Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced changes in the structure of regional governance and a new position for Mamuka Mdinaradze. The minister will oversee the authority of the government in regional policy and coordinate the activities of regional organizations. Mdinaradze has held several important positions over the years and now will be responsible for strengthening regional development. This new role is expected to enhance cooperation and improve governance across Georgia's regions.
