В селе Гомаро Аджарского муниципалитета, где вечером 23 июля после нескольких дней масштабной переписи населения начались работы по ликвидации последствий с привлечением специальной технической группы. Как сообщил мэр Аджарского муниципалитета Гоча Кимадзе, специальная комиссия была создана заранее. По его словам, в состав команды должны войти гидрологи, геологи и специалисты по строительству, которые оценят причины и определят меры по восстановлению пострадавших территорий. Размер специальной комиссии зависит от территории. На сегодняшний день пострадали три села муниципалитета — Гомаро, Квемо Энтели и Шока. В Гомаро повреждены два жилых дома и дополнительная инфраструктура. В Квемо Энтели ситуация аналогична.
