Число наемных работников в бизнес-секторе достигло 743,7 тысячи человек — на 3,5% больше, чем год назад. Общие расходы компаний за период выросли на 11% и составили 5,3 млрд лари.

По секторам главных видов деятельности в Грузии остаются торговля (оптовая и розничная, включая ремонт авто), строительная промышленность и социальные услуги.

Оборот бизнес-сектора за год вырос почти на 11% и достиг 62 млрд лари. 71% этой суммы приходится на крупный бизнес, 11% — на средний, 18% — на малый.

In the first quarter of 2026, the average salary of employees in Georgia's business sector reached 2336 GEL, which is 166 GEL higher than the previous year. This information was provided by the National Statistics Service of Georgia (Sakstat).

The number of employees in the business sector reached 743.7 thousand people, which is 3.5% more than the previous year. The total turnover of companies for the period increased by 11% and amounted to 5.3 billion GEL.

According to the main business sectors in Georgia, trade (both wholesale and retail, including car sales) shows the highest activity, as well as construction and social services.

The turnover of the business sector for the year increased by 11% and reached 62 billion GEL. Of this total, 71% accounts for wholesale trade, 11% for retail, and 18% for small trade.

The largest share in the structure of turnover belongs to the sector "manufacturing,
