С 1 июня МВД Грузии планирует запустить специальное подразделение для мониторинга языка ненависти и агрессивной коммуникации в публичном пространстве и соцсетях. Об этом в интервью телеканалу «Рустави 2» заявил замминистра внутренних дел Александр Дарахвелидзе.

По его словам, новое подразделение будет создано в структуре МВД для защиты граждан от вредоносного языка. Система будет выявлять случаи языка ненависти, подстрекательства к вражде и другие формы коммуникации, содержащие признаки ненависти.

«Подразделение будет выявлять каждый случай, где имеется язык ненависти и подстрекательство к вражде в отношении определённых групп людей, если это подпадает под запрещённые признаки языка ненависти», — сказал Дарахвелидзе.

Он также отметил, что структура будет работать в рамках действующего законодательства.

Starting June 1, the Georgian Ministry of Economy will launch a special monitoring system for hate speech and aggressive communication in public spaces and social networks. This was announced during an interview on the Rustavi 2 television channel by the head of the Ministry, Alexander Darakhvelidze.

According to him, the new department will be created within the structure of the Ministry to protect citizens from harmful language. The system will identify cases of hate speech, incitement to hostility, and other forms of communication that contain signs of hate.

"The department will identify every case where there is hate speech and incitement to hostility against certain groups of people if this falls under the prohibited signs of hate speech," said Darakhvelidze.

He also noted that the structure will operate within the framework of the existing legislation.
