Американский инвестор выходит на рынок добычи нефти и газа в Грузии – компания Aspect Georgia объявляет вложить $70 млн в развитие и разработку месторождений на территории страны. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба Минэкономики Грузии.

Aspect Georgia представляет собой консорциум, который должен изучать лицензионный блок XIQ на востоке страны. До сих пор проект велся Georgia Oil and Gas Limited, государственным агентством нефти и газа Грузии и GOG SLADS Limited. Соглашение о разработке продукции они оформили еще в декабре 2021 года по итогам международного тендера.

Теперь в изначальный контракт внесены изменения. Власти рассчитывают, что приход нового игрока усилит геологоразведку и повысит шансы на коммерческое открытие запасов.

Aspect Georgia зарегистрирована в штате Колорадо. Эта «дочка» американской нефтяной группы намерена вложить значительные средства в развитие нефтяного сектора Грузии.

An American oil company subsidiary is planning to invest $70 million in the development and expansion of oil production fields in Georgia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.

Aspect Georgia is a consortium that will extract oil from the XIQ license block in the eastern part of the country. The project is led by Georgia Oil and Gas Limited, a state-owned oil and gas company of Georgia, and GOG SLADS Limited. The production agreement was signed in December 2021 between the international tender winners.

The company has already signed an initial contract for the lease of the license. Authorities note that the start of the new project will strengthen the country's geological exploration and increase the volume of commercial oil exports.

Aspect Georgia is registered in the state of Colorado. This American "daughter" company is expected to bring significant investment and development to Georgia's oil sector.
