Молодые супруги – парень и девушка в возрасте около 20 лет – были обнаружены мертвыми в своей съемной квартире в районе Варкетили на окраине Тбилиси. Об этом сообщают СМИ со ссылкой на родственников погибших.

Случай произошел накануне. В беседе с журналистами знакомые предположили, что причиной смерти стала утечка газа, однако эту версию опровергли в компании Tbilisi Energy.

«По результатам проверки места происшествия специалистами Tbilisi Energy не зафиксировано следов CO (угарного газа) или утечки газа, соответственно данный инцидент не связан с газом», – говорится в заявлении компании.

Следствие продолжается по статье 115 УК Грузии – доведение до самоубийства. Согласно установленой практике, именно по ней квалифицируют факты ненасильственной смерти, чтобы установить все обстоятельства произошедшего.

A young married couple – a man and a woman aged around 20 years old – were found dead in their rented apartment in the Varketili district on the outskirts of Tbilisi. This was reported by media outlets citing relatives of the deceased.

The incident occurred the day before. In conversations with journalists, acquaintances suggested that the cause of death was a gas leak, however this version was refuted by Tbilisi Energy company.

"According to the results of the inspection of the scene by Tbilisi Energy specialists, no traces of CO (carbon monoxide) or gas leaks were detected, therefore this incident is not related to gas," the company's statement said.

The investigation continues under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia – driving to suicide. According to established practice, this is how non-violent deaths are classified in order to establish all the circumstances of what happened.
